Starcraft's vibration dampening process (VDP) eliminates the rattle that you so often hear from competitive pontoons. The use of synthetic rubber, double sided 60 mil butyl tape and Mylar high density PVC foam tape is placed along each cross member. Plus, on the inside of every exterior rail and fifth wall, a Mylar PVC foam tape provides an additional barrier between the powdered coated rails and the aluminum fence panel. This eliminates any rattle or vibration while cruising on the water.
