Team Starweld pro angler Daniel Kedestig of Borgs Motor AB in Kumla Sweden and his Teammate Micke Medin ended up in first place this past weekend at a Zander tournament in Sweden. The tournament event is Vertikalgösen in Swedish. In English it translates to "The vertical Zander." The event was held on Lake Tisaren. They managed to catch 6 beautiful Zander during the tournament with a total length of 15 feet and they won a price for the largest fish of the tournament which was a huge Zander that was 35 inch long. Daniel commented, "The weather was really bad with lots of rain and the elements were against us. We had great boat control in our Starweld while applying a vertical presentation to catch our largest Zander. Daniel also went on to mention that they had six other Starweld boats in the tournament and it is awesome to see the Starweld family is growing in Sweden and Europe. Great job guys and congratulations!
